How Shell refined its ASSET MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Shell International Exploration and Production companies have developed an innovative new measurement approach based on asset management. By viewing all activities through an asset holder's eye, what began as an exercise to contain operating costs has enabled Shell to break the company into manageable inter‐related components.
