Abstract

A great many disabled people are out of work not because they are disabled, but because they have received no formal training. The key to success in training disabled people is to choose the type of training best suited to the individual, so that residual ability can be brought to a standard which is readily acceptable to an employer. This sharp and objective approach to training is more than half the battle in achieving motivation.
