Price‐Strat: A Decision Support System for Determining Building Society and Bank Interest Rate Mixes
Abstract
A novel decision support system (Price‐Strat) is described which helps senior managers in building societies and banks to take better interest rate mix decisions within a highly competitive environment by explicitly taking into account the competitors' moves. This system is one of a family of such systems which have been developed recently for tackling various strategic and operational decision‐making problems in different industries.
