Abstract

“The business community is showing increasing concern over a trend which is becoming disappointingly apparent — management has not learned what to do about the computer. Each new study, each new report on computer management indicates that the problem seems to be worsening. I believe that management's problem stems not from the technical complexity of computer techniques, but from managerial unwillingness to back with its confidence what it has backed with its funds.”
