Argues that, in the current, straightened economic times, companies do not have the money to spend on high priced consultants in order to transform the company’s organizational culture, and this means that any change is going to involve work done by ordinary employees and on a minuscule budget, with the direct involvement of senior management. Offers a broad, two-part plan to guide employees and managers towards the development of a suitable plan for organizational change that involves managers paying closer attention to their employees and ensuring that a better working relationship develops throughout the organization.Article type: ViewpointISSN: 1040-9602Reference: 40AL326
