End suction "PC" and self-prime "G" plastic pumps

Keywords Serfilco, Corrosion resistance, Pumps

Serfilco has introduced a new range of low cost, high flow performance plastic pumps which claim to provide a high degree of corrosion resistance to all but the most arduous chemical applications (Plate 1).

Plate 1 Serfilco's new plastic pumps

The Series "PC" End Suction Centrifugal Pump can handle duties up to 700 l/min (40m3/hr) and 20m head. The combination 11Ž2" ID/2" OD inlet and outlet ports are available in standard BSP threaded connections. The highest flow rates are achieved by using the 3" flanged version.

The Series "G" Self-prime Centrifugal Pumps can handle duties up to 350 l/min (20m3/hr) and 15m head. Again, the combination 11Ž2" ID/2" OD inlet and outlet ports are available in standard BSP threaded connections. The re-prime capability, once the priming chamber has been charged, is up to 4m suction lift. The pump is protected from ingress of solid debris with a removable basket strainer. Also, the pump features an open, non-clogging, impeller which further reduces maintenance.

Both these pumps are ideal for low cost general pumping duties, transferring and recirculating of especially waste treatment and effluent applications.
