Software value assessment
R.T. Yu-Lee and F. Bollin in APICS The Performance Advantage (USA), Dec. 1998 Vol. 8 No. 12: p. 28 (4 pages)
Proposes a methodology for the assessment of custom-designed software. Uses the twin parameters of "how is the firm better off with the software?" and the corollary of "how worse off would the firm be without the software?" Applies the parameters to a value model expressed in terms of the software's functional and technical ability, and ease of use.
