It has come to our attention that a large portion of this article is taken, without full and proper attribution, from an earlier work by Long Liu, Lifeng Wang, Ziwang Xiao (2021) “Flexural bearing capacity of RC hollow slab beam strengthened by steel plates of different thicknesses,” International Journal of Structural Integrity, Vol. 12 No. 4, pp. 613–628, https://doi.org/10.1108/IJSI-04-2021-0041. The submission guidelines for Multidiscipline Modeling in Materials and Structures make it clear that articles must be original. The publisher of the journal sincerely apologizes to the readers.
