The Medical Motorway: improving the quality of care in the context of an ageing population

Abstract

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to improve quality in health care.

Design/methodology/approach

This article developed the concepts of the health-care services in the form of a Medical Motorway.

Findings

Different conceptual approaches to providing efficiency of services whilst improving quality of patient care in the context of an ageing population are presented.
