Managing Technical Information in an Open Systems Environment
Abstract
The proliferation of workstations throughout the engineering and manufacturing industries generally means that the tremendous amounts of data that are becoming available need to be managed in an efficient and integrated way. Examines the organizational, financial and technical implications involved in the implementation of accessing and sharing information and the various systems available to enable this to be achieved successfully.
