Interview with Paula Hudspith

Abstract

Purpose

The purpose of this paper is to provide an interview with Paula Hudspith, recently appointed Director of Learning at IO1, the UK's No. 1 Drupal specialist consultancy. Paula was appointed by IO1 for her natural ability to understand the different learning requirements of those she trains. Her arrival comes in time to help IO1 strengthen its professional services and training arm as it responds to a surge in demand for these services.

Findings

Paula Hudspith is a learning and instructional design professional with specialist experience in the design of creative training solutions. In her new role as Director of Learning at IO1, Paula's focus is on the user experience and how organizations can get the most from their IT systems.

Practical implications

Provides strategic insights and practical thinking that have influenced some of the world's leading organizations.

Originality/value

This interview highlights some of the ways in which L&D can capture the changing needs within organizations and, using a range of technologies, can quickly translate these into solutions that give real tangible and quantifiable value back to the business.
