Drinking Water Biodenitrification: Demonstration Plant Results
45
Abstract
The article reports on the extension of a previous pilot study on denitrification of water in a demonstration plant: the results showed that four reference loads of nitrate (0.45, 0.80, 1.15 and 1.45 kg nitrate‐N per m⊃3 per day) were successfully controlled by the treatments suggested: biodenitrification in a biological reactor using a carbon substrate (sucrose).
