Information for Competitive Positioning: How Does the UK Compare?
Abstract
Information technology has undergone, and is likely to continue to undergo, profound changes, especially with the advent of the new European environment. Research has shown that, to be successful, companies in Britain have got to make better use of IT than they have done in the past. Leadership from the top is essential in implementing the use of IT, and the issue of risk‐taking becomes a style of management not necessarily inherent in parts of Britain.
