Back at the start of the year, how many of you made resolutions for the New Year. How many of you maintained that resolution in the face of temptation/frustration over the last few months? How many of you learnt a lesson about resolve in your business life? Typical answers to the above questions are: I did; I did not; and I did not. It is amazing how well we compartmentalise our professional and personal lives – we do things in private we would not dream of doing at work, and vice versa. Is this a necessary attribute to keep us sane?
