Message received, unfortunately

I recently received my first ever "spam" text message on my mobile phone. Unfortunately, the marketeers seem to have cottoned on to SMS messaging as a possible "communication channel". Let's hope the move is slow. E-mail is increasingly annoying in terms of the vast numbers of spam messages – my average is about 30 per day – and the essential speed and simplicity of text messaging will be destroyed by "spam". I hold no hope that it will not come about – it is simply a matter of time!
