GlobeRanger, a wireless supply chain solutions company, has announced a suite of wireless supply chain applications designed to provide continuous visibility outside the "four walls" of the enterprise, enabling customers to reduce costs, improve productivity and efficiently respond to changing market conditions. The applications are targeted to the automotive, consumer package goods and high technology industries and to transportation and logistics service providers. For transportation and logistics, four applications (inbound logistics, outbound delivery, integrated pick-up/delivery, and warehouse order execution) enable visibility and decision making based on real-time data, including ASNs of actual pick-up/delivery quantities, reconciliation of discrepancies, arrival/departure notices, and electronic proof of transaction.
