Radio Taxis (RTL) is using Capscan's address management system to validate pick-up point data from its new Internet booking system. The new solution from the address and data management systems specialist allows RTL's Taxi Despatch system to assign the correct map co-ordinates for pick-up and drop-off points. RTL, which has a fleet of over 2,500 licensed cabs, expects the booking system to handle up to 25 per cent of its business, and without a system to validate customer data online, the booking system cannot work.
