The 16th Annual World Gaming Congress will be held 22-24 October 2002 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Last year's Congress was a great success, attracting almost 18,000 attendees to visit the 490 exhibitors. This makes it the world's largest gaming trade show. During the regular seminar series, many seminars drew capacity crowds. Two seminars in particular drew wide attention from attendees and media alike: The first, "Bouncing back from being laid off," was open to the public and presented motivational tips on how to get back into the workforce. The second, "Hot topics: a new perspective on casino security and safety," gave casino operators valuable insight into security in the new USA.
