Catalyst International, Inc., a global supplier of warehouse management software, recently announced that Ultimate Electronics, Inc. has selected the Catalyst Warehouse Management System (WMS) Release 8.0 to manage its Thornton, Colorado distribution facility. Ultimate Electronics is a leading specialty retailer of home entertainment and brand name consumer electronics based in Denver. Because of its rapid growth and additional new stores, Ultimate Electronics purchased the Catalyst WMS system to serve as the backbone for operational excellence at its central distribution center in Thornton. The 175,000 square-foot facility ships home entertainment and consumer electronic goods to its retail stores, as well as supporting direct order and home delivery operations.
In addition, Ultimate Electronics has contracted with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting to assist in re-designing the distribution facility and to function as third-party integrator with Catalyst for the installation of Catalyst WMS.
