The catchily-named LTPE247 and LTPE347, from Seiko Instruments, are the 2-inch (58mm) and 3-inch (80 mm) versions of the new high-speed, high resolution thermal printer mechanism line. They support multiple 24V applications and feature the easy paper-loading operation system. This new system offers high functionality and easy operability: pushing the release lever allows complete removal of the platen shaft and it can then easily be re-adjusted again in order to evenly press the paper to the thermal head. This kind of easy paper operation allows for simple paper replacement as well as an easy cleaning of the thermal head. Both printer mechanisms are maintenance-free. The printers are suitable for a variety of 24V applications, especially in the POS/ECR and EFT-POS market. Optional auto-cutters are available for both types. These guarantee at least half a million cuttings at a frequency of max. 30 cutting per minute.
