The day of the humble travel brochure - and the travel agent, as we know them - may be coming to an end. Increasingly people turn to the Web for holiday information - because of its accessibility, of course - but also because on the Web, companies can supplement the basic holiday/resort information with audio and video - giving "virtual" tours of resorts and hotels. Of course, these are not necessarily "warts and all" videos - they are aimed at attracting visitors after all, but you do get a better impression of a hotel and its locale than the customary two photos in the brochure.
