Dogs are more fun

Dogs are more fun

I was reading a paper (by John W. McCredie of the University of California at Berkeley) when I came across the intriguing statement that "Dogs are more fun than Computers." What he meant by this is that working with computers is fun - but that first, the fun should be tempered by a focus on the effectiveness of the results; and second, it is important to remember that many other things (such as owning a dog) are more fun. Maintaining a reasonable balance among several activities helps maintain the fun and avoid burnout.
