Floored!
Tailored maintenance is the theme of a series of illustrated guides produced by the Polyflor commercial flooring division of James Halstead Ltd to assist end users to minimise the cost of maintaining the company's comprehensive range of vinyl floorcoverings. The guides show how maintenance can be tailored to concentrate the effort where each location demands it, in order to make real savings without compromising standards of appearance, hygiene and cleanliness. They indicate how end users should assess the many variables - type of flooring, floor location, type and quantity of traffic, existence and need for dirt barriers etc - and develop appropriately tailored programmes. Polyflor has also produced a detailed list of approved suppliers of maintenance products to complement the guides.
