Title: Microbe auto culturing system using nano-sensor

Applicant: Univ Fudan

Patent number: CN101307291

Publication date: November 19, 2008

Abstract

The invention belongs to the nanotechnology and biomedicine technical field, and particularly relates to a microorganism automatic cultivation system adopting a nano-sensor. The system mainly comprises a specially designed culture flask, a nano-sensor detector and a device for control, display and record. A separation film in the culture flask separates culture solution from pure water or air, and only CO2 can pass through the separation film. After a specimen is inoculated, the culture flask can carry out automatic temperature regulation and shake culture, and, at the same time, can monitor the generation status of CO2 in the flask through detecting the potential difference between electrodes formed by a nano film or a nano wire (rod) array, a metal oxide nano wire (rod) array and a counter electrode arranged on the side of the pure water or air. An obtained signal is transmitted into a computer for analysis and is judged as a positive result once the signal exceeds a preset threshold value, and the computer can automatically give an alarm. The system which can replace the prior automatic cultivation system in current use can improve a positive detectable rate with high sensitivity and simple operation.

Title: Satellite remote sensor for typical fishery change and sea environment relationship

Applicant: Shanghai Bluegis Software Inc.

Patent number: CN101311673

Publication date: November 26, 2008

Abstract

Based on the sea surface temperature data provided by a satellite ground station and satellite remote sensing chlorophyll data provided by NASA/GSFC/SeaWIFS, the invention studies the horizontal distribution features of sea surface temperatures, and the spatial distribution and temporal and spatial variations of sea-water chlorophyll of the South Yellow Sea area from April to June in 2006 by taking advantage of the algorithms of MCSST and the like, and a space visualization method of the isoline analysis of a remote sensing software Surfer while combining the natural environment features of the South Yellow Sea. The invention investigates and studies the distribution conditions of the catches of Scomberomorus sierra and pomfret, makes a quantitative study of the relations between the catches of the Scomberomorus sierra and the pomfret and ocean environment elements. The main research results provided by the invention include the suitable water temperatures for the Scomberomorus sierra and the pomfret and ranges of chlorophyll concentration as well as the correlation between the temperatures and the ranges.
