Lis-perf-measures 2003

Lis-perf-measures is a JISCmail hosted discussion list supporting work undertaken in performance measurement in the international information community. The joint list owners are Pat Gannon-Leary and Kathryn Ray, both of whom work in the Information Management Research Institute at Northumbria University.

Lis-perf-measures complements Emerald's Performance Measurement and Metrics journal and is the main means by which contributors to the journal's book review section are sought.

Membership of the list currently stands at 443. The countries represented by our members include: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the UK and the USA. Recent topics under discussion have included accessions monitoring library guiding. We encourage respondents to messages posted to reply to the list rather than the individuals concerned since this can stimulate further discussion and debate.

With the 5th Northumbria International Conference on Performance Measurement imminent, expect associated announcements to be made on lis-perf-measures. Other forthcoming events of interest to members will be advertised similarly.
