The 9th Annual Conference of the Asian Academic Accounting Association (AAAA) will bring together a diverse group of accounting educators and professionals from throughout Asia and the rest of the world. Organised and hosted by the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), the conference will focus on a variety of contemporary accounting topics, including the opportunities and challenges of global financial reporting standards. The programme will feature internationally renowned speakers and will contain a balance of both theoretical and applied concurrent sessions

Conference topics

The conference will create an environment to network, exchange ideas, share knowledge and pursue other developmental opportunities with colleagues from Asia, Australia and around the world. The theme of the conference is "Towards global financial reporting standards: opportunities and challenges''. However, paper topics include, but are not limited to:
