The authors have compiled this text as a “cross-disciplinary” reference which examines advanced computational infrastructures. It concentrates on both the “state-of-the-art” in advanced computational infrastructures and also deals with the applications they underpin.
The publishers believe that it provides a “comprehensive discussion of the requirements and challenges” as well as the underlying philosophies and deployment of infrastructures. The book does provide, as promised, useful information about the management at runtime and also considers the programming and the execution of large-scale adaptive implementations.
Cyberneticists will appreciate the authors approach and their investigative style of presentation.
