Clark L. Maxam was a former Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at New York Life Asset Management and current Professor of Finance at Montana State University, Dr Maxam combines his 18 years of proprietary fixed income, equity and derivatives trading experience with a PhD in finance from Indiana University. His market experience includes proprietary fixed income and derivative arbitrage and market making as Senior President at Security Pacific Global Trading and NatWest Capital markets. He is a past member of both the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Senior Vice President of floor trading and sales from 1988-1993. In 1993, Dr Maxam left Chicago to obtain a PhD in Finance from Indiana University which he completed in 1996. A valued member of the Montana State University faculty since 1996, Dr Maxam now specializes in quantitative financial modelling of domestic and international equity and fixed income markets. As both an academic trained in the latest techniques in financial modelling and an experienced trader and portfolio manager. Dr Maxam brings a unique perspective to the development and implementation of quantitative techniques that always emphasize practicality and realities of a dynamic marketplace. This combination has enabled Dr Maxam to earn three teaching awards in five years while also contributing to his field through numerous publications in national and international finance journals.

Jeffrey D. Fisher, PhD, RE is Director of the Center for Real Estate Studies and the Charles H. and Barbara F. Dunn Professor of Real Estate at the Indiana University Kelly School of Business. He is also the Consulting Director of Research and Technology with the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCFEIF). He received PREA/Graaskamp Award for Research Excellence from the Pension Real Estate Association, the George Bloom Award from the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association for Outstanding Contributions to the field of Real Estate. He served as President of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) in 1990. Professor Fisher has a doctorate in Real Estate from Ohio State University. He is co-author of several books including Real Estate, 9th edition, published by John Wiley and Sons and Real Estate Finance, 11th edition, published by Richard D. Irwin, Inc. He has published numerous articles in journals such as Real Estate Economics, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, The Journal of Urban Economics, The Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Property Investment and Finance, Journal of Portfolio Management, National Tax Journal, Public Finance Quarterly, The Appraisal Journal, Real Estate Review, The Real Estate Appraiser and Analyst, Real Estate Issues and the Journal of Property Tax Management.
