Doctoral Research Review
Call for Executive Summaries
In the year 2001 Property Management and Journal of Property Investment & Finance will introduce a new section featuring executive summaries of recently completed Doctoral theses or work of candidates currently researching for a PhD in property management, investment and finance.
The reason for doing this is threefold.
- 1.
Other researchers in the field will be able to find out what higher level research is currently being undertaken.
- 2.
PhD candidates will be given the opportunity to summarise their research ideas in an international refereed journal.
- 3.
Candidates accepted for publication in this section may be invited by the editors to further develop their ideas for future publication.
The journal now invites candidates to submit executive summaries of their research for publication. The research review should be a maximum of 2,000 words in length, include a brief abstract, up to six keywords and contain the following information:
- •
Name of candidate.
- •
Date of registration.
- •
Expected date of submission.
- •
Title of research.
- •
A full description of the research.
- •
A description of the research methodology employed.
- •
An indication of the contribution that is expected to be made to the field of study.
In the first instance PhD summaries should be submitted to the editor:
