Open access journals continue to develop and the New Journal of Physics is chalking up some impressive statistics: "NJP continues its recent growth with 67 papers published to date in 2002. Over 165,000 papers have now been downloaded since the journal's launch. August saw the publication of the final contribution to the Focus Issue on "Supersymmetry in Physics". The latest paper "Large-scale fluctuation structures in plasma turbulence" by O. Grulke et al. http://stacks.iop.org/njp/4/67 makes excellent use of NJP's multimedia capabilities (http://www.njp.org).
