Good to see that the publisher of ILDS is cooperating with the voluntary deposit of electronic journals at the British Library. The move was welcomed by Richard Bennett, acquisitions manager at the BL. "… it is very encouraging that a major international publisher is making this commitment to the future development of the UK national Published Archive."
There are now 800 subscribers to the Emerald portfolio of journals. Their success is indicated by the fact that 40 per cent of Ingenta's 1.2 million downloads a month are from the 2 per cent of their titles published by Emerald.
