This new web site has been developed by the European Commission to help respond to the challenges of climate change. It is a resource for information on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in Europe and will be managed by the Commission and the European Environment Agency (EEA). Climate-ADAPT is aimed at policy makers and practitioners, e.g. engineers, planners and administrators – and is a vehicle for pooling information and learning from others. It will include information sharing on:

Expected climate change in Europe;
- •
Current and future vulnerability of regions and sectors;
- •
National and transnational adaptation strategies;
- •
Adaptation case studies and potential adaptation options; and
- •
Tools that support adaptation planning.
