Article Type: Announcements From: International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, Volume 19, Issue 3

Emerald is pleased to announce that the International Journal of Accounting and Information Management (IJAIM) has been accepted and is now included on Scopus.

Scopus, launched in November 2004, is the world’s largest abstract and citation database containing both peer-reviewed research literature and quality web sources.

Titles submitted to Scopus go through a rigorous review by their independent and international Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board, and all titles must adhere to the five main selection criteria: journal policy, content, citedness, regularity and online availability. Full information on this can be found on the web site.

The inclusion of the International Journal of Accounting and Information Management (IJAIM) in this database is a testament to the high-quality of the journal and the topical and relevant content that it publishes. The dedication of the Editor-in-Cheif, Professor Lee J. Yao, to the journals continued success, the hard work of the Editorial Board and reviewers, and the authors and researchers who publish in the journal, is much appreciated and has helped the journal achieve this recognition.

It is also our pleasure to inform you that, to celebrate the 20th year of the journal’s publication, from the 2012 volume, the International Journal of Accounting and Information Management (IJAIM) will be publishing four issues a year. This will allow for further development of the journal and to publish more research you can use. For full information on the journal and its coverage please see the homepage, www.emeraldinsight.com/ijaim.htm

If you want to submit a paper to the IJAIM please use the ScholarOne Manuscripts electronic submissions portal http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ijaim

Use of the ScholarOne Manuscripts system allows the Emerald and the IJAIM to EarlyCite the content of the journal. EarlyCite is Emerald’s online, pre-publication service that enables customers to access journal articles prior to official publication.

Papers will be made available at least three months and, in some cases, as much as one year before they appear in the hard copy and final online journal issue. Through EarlyCite, authors’ research will be disseminated, read and potentially cited earlier. Similarly, users have earlier access to the up-to-date research.

EarlyCite articles are fully peer-reviewed and are made available online before they undergo the full sub-editing and page-proofing stages. Once the final copy of the article is ready for publication, it replaces the EarlyCite version. Every EarlyCite paper is assigned to an issue, which enables correct referencing.

For full information on how to submit a paper please see the author guidelines.
