Facilities management professionals – new list released by Miller Freeman Direct

Keywords Facilities management, Data capture

Miller Freeman Direct, the UK business-to-business data experts, has released its Year 2000 Facilities Management Professionals list.

From its origins in catering and security, the facilities management and outsourcing markets now cover administrative areas as diverse as print, fleet management, telecomms and waste management. Reaching facilities management professionals with relevant and appropriate targeted messages is a critical task for business-to-business marketers supplying this steadily growing sector.

Accurate targeting relies on the availability of key data sources such as Miller Freeman Direct's 8,500-strong Facilities Management Professionals list, now available for rental in its Year 2000 update by B2B direct marketers, their agencies and brokers.

Around three-quarters of the contacts on the Miller Freeman Direct list come from private sector organisations, with about one-quarter representing the public sector.

Other significant statistics from Miller Freeman's Facilities Management Professionals list include:

  • almost 30 per cent of contacts (in excess of 2,500 individuals) are responsible for more than six sites;

  • a total of 45 per cent of contacts have facilities management as their main area of responsibility;

  • approaching one-fifth of the list are directors or chief executives;

  • over one-quarter of contacts are responsible for telecomms;

  • one-fifth are responsible for print outsourcing;

  • almost 15 per cent are responsible for fleet management;

  • one-third are responsible for interior design;

  • one-third manage relocation; and

  • almost half are responsible for security.
