Training for Competence — The Nature and Assessment of the Beast
Abstract
It is too often too easy to become involved in the intricacies of how to make assessments of training to the neglect of a good understanding of how profoundly the techniques of asessment are affected by what it is which is being assessed and the equally profound influence that this has on the nature and appropriateness of the assessment techniques used and the information produced by them.
