Abstract

An engineering company in the South Midlands recently overhauled its accounts system, cutting staff by 10% and presumably hoping for greater efficiency. What they might not have anticipated was the volume of telephone calls and letters from anxious suppliers. All had the same question: ‘When are we going to be paid?’
