Forearmed at continental through effective planning

Abstract
Profit planning in the insurance industry is difficult at best. Ours is after all, a risk‐assuming business, and we must factor the unknown into whatever we do. Experience has taught us to work out probabilities of risk, of unknown factors, with available information. With our large base of exposure and premium, the various components of risk become somewhat more predictable.
