Abstract

The Author outlines a method of cost analysis for lubrication in a large industrial plant and points out that there are other savings than those that can be accounted for in pounds and pence. He concludes that the present fragmentation of costing systems must be changed to set a foundation for tribology rather than merely lubrication.
