MONSANTO'S HIGH TRACTION ‘SANTOTRAC’

Abstract

IN OUR December issue we mentioned the new material “Santotrac”, a new synthetic lubricant from Monsanto having unusually high traction properties which, we remarked, could change oil ideas about power transfer by greatly improving the cost/performance ratio of mechanical traction drives. We now have more technical information about this product.
