Abstract

A recent installation for filling and capping lubricating oil glass bottles lias been supplied to Esso's Mode Wheel Terminal which covers distribution to the Midlands and the North of England. This has been completed by Mather & Platt Ltd., in conjunction with Esso technicians, Dawson Bros. of Leeds, and Fords (Finsbury) Ltd. The problem was to supply the equipment for filling SAE 10 to SAE 140 grades into pint and quart bottles at a speed of 60 containers a minute in either size.
