NON‐DRIP oils have been known and used for a number of years, for they have numerous industrial uses in cases where staining or marking of goods with oil must not occur. Probably the most important use for such oils is in textile factories where fabrics are being processed or woven. In some cases, very expensive lengths of material would be completely ruined if they were to be splashed with oil from the overhead mechanism, and yet it is imperative adequately to lubricate the plant.
