Animating the archives

Abstract

Information, as we all know, is an asset. But like most other assets, it conveys no benefit until it is put to use. Land is of no benefit unless you cultivate it, or build on it, or sell it. Diamonds may be a girl's best friend but, locked in a bank, they don't do anything for her except, perhaps, provide the warm feeling of potential benefit.
