Abstract
American periodical literature constitutes a vast storehouse of technical information—a storehouse which can only be fully utilized when one is aware of the peculiarities and limitations which characterize it. In addition there are certain tricks of the trade, certain short cuts which facilitate the effective exploitation of this reservoir of information.
