The Ultimate/Dynix System: Report from Ramsey County Library, Minnesota

Abstract

Ramsey County Library is one of the largest library systems in Minnesota, serving some 200,000 patrons through five branches in the Minneapolis area. When it decided to computerise its system in September 1985, its methods of maintaining records, catalogues and all other information were in clear need of overhauling.
