Image Storage and Retrieval Using Dynix

Abstract

The Dynix library system offers a wide range of functions within the OPAC module. One of these is the image processing software which links images to bibliographic records and allows retrieval by way of the normal OPAC search facilities. The imaging system is currently undergoing on‐site testing in the US and has recently arrived in the UK. The functionality of the image processing system is described.
