Abstract

The Talylin 20 straightness measuring instrument has a scanning pick‐up so that the stylus can be set up accurately on the crest of cylinders. It measures diamater change over lengths up to 400mm to an accuracy of 0.5?m. The cylindrical datum and pick‐up carriage are mounted to give maximum accuracy to pick‐up traversing mechanism. Price is available from the manufacturer. Delivery: four months.
