Abstract

A tube comprising layers of longitudinally and helically arranged vegetable, animal or mineral fibres, such as cotton, jute, wool, hair, asbestos, glass fibres, filaments of natural or artificial rubber, or wires, coated with a synthetic resin is deformed, upon introduction into the tube of one or more cores, to the profile of an aeroplane wing or a propeller blade.
