Abstract

A monthly feature giving news of recent Government and professional appointments, industrial developments and business changes, etc.. The Insignia Award in Technology was established by the Council of the City and Guilds of London Institute some twelve months ago to provide a high qualification for persons in industry whose initial training was based primarily upon practical experience combined with theoretical study and who, having gained appropriate City and Guilds' certificates as craftsmen or technicians, have now advanced in their industry by a combination of progressive experience and further study.
