Abstract

Tretol Chemiprufe is a clear lacquer that has unusual properties of resisting attack by chemicals and corrosive atmospheres. Intended primarily for use over Tretol Chlorinated Rubber Paint, it has many other uses, since it can be used to reinforce ordinary paints, or can be applied direct to bare metal. It is virtually colourless and barely tints even white and near‐white colours. Since it can be applied by brush or spray, is touch hard in the hour and fully set within twenty‐four hours, it has many applications. By brush one gallon will cover 70 sq. yds. and with the spray 75 sq. yds. The price varies from 36s. 6d. for one gallon to 35.?. for twenty‐five gallon lots or over.
