THE processes used in forming light metals in mass‐prcduced serial work have had to keep pace with the rapid progress in all‐metal aircraft construction in recent years. During the development of these processes close attention has had to be paid not only to the particular properties of light alloys, but, above all, to the simplicity of the tools.
